1. Acceptance of Terms​

By accessing or using Meedi8, you agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you don't agree, please don't use the service.

2. Description of Service​

Meedi8 is an AI-powered mediation platform that:

  • Facilitates communication between individuals
  • Provides coaching using Nonviolent Communication principles
  • Generates reports and summaries

Meedi8 is NOT:

  • A licensed therapy or counseling service
  • A legal mediation service
  • An emergency or crisis service
  • A substitute for professional mental health care

3. User Accounts​

Registration​

  • You must provide accurate information
  • You're responsible for maintaining account security
  • You must be at least 18 years old

Account Responsibility​

  • You're responsible for all activity under your account
  • Notify us immediately of unauthorized access
  • Don't share your account with others

4. Acceptable Use​

You Agree To:​

  • Use the service lawfully
  • Respect other users
  • Provide accurate information
  • Maintain confidentiality of sessions

You Agree Not To:​

  • Harass, threaten, or abuse others
  • Share session content without consent
  • Use the service for illegal purposes
  • Attempt to access others' accounts
  • Circumvent security measures
  • Use automated systems (bots, scrapers)
  • Misrepresent yourself

5. Content​

Your Content​

  • You retain ownership of content you create
  • You grant us license to process your content for the service
  • You're responsible for content you upload

Our Content​

  • Meedi8 and its design are our property
  • AI-generated summaries are provided for your use
  • Don't reproduce or distribute our content without permission

Prohibited Content​

Don't upload or share:

  • Illegal content
  • Content that violates others' rights
  • Malware or harmful code
  • Spam or misleading content

6. Privacy​

Your use of Meedi8 is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which describes how we collect, use, and protect your data.

7. Payments​

Subscriptions​

  • Paid plans are billed monthly
  • Prices are in USD
  • You authorize recurring charges

Refunds​

Changes​

  • We may change prices with 30 days notice
  • You can cancel before changes take effect

8. Termination​

By You​

  • Cancel anytime from Settings
  • Deleting your account terminates these Terms

By Us​

We may terminate or suspend your account if you:

  • Violate these Terms
  • Engage in harmful behavior
  • Fail to pay for services

Effect of Termination​

  • Access to the service ends
  • Your data may be deleted per our retention policy
  • Obligations that should survive (like confidentiality) continue

9. Disclaimers​

No Professional Advice​

Meedi8 provides communication tools, not professional advice. We are not:

  • Licensed therapists
  • Medical professionals
  • Legal advisors

"As Is" Service​

The service is provided "as is" without warranties of:

  • Merchantability
  • Fitness for a particular purpose
  • Non-infringement
  • Uninterrupted or error-free operation

AI Limitations​

AI-generated content may contain errors. Don't rely on it for critical decisions.

10. Limitation of Liability​

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

  • We're not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
  • Our total liability is limited to amounts you paid us in the past 12 months
  • This applies regardless of the theory of liability

11. Indemnification​

You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from claims arising from:

  • Your use of the service
  • Your violation of these Terms
  • Your violation of others' rights

12. Dispute Resolution​

Informal Resolution​

Governing Law​
