Inviting a Partner
Ready to bring someone else into the mediation? Here's how to invite them.
Getting the Invite Link
After completing your coaching phase:
- You'll see an "Invite Partner" button
- Click to generate a unique link
- Copy the link
Sharing the Link
Send the link via:
- Email - Most reliable
- Text/SMS - Quick and direct
- Messaging apps - WhatsApp, Telegram, etc.
Sample Message
"Hi [Name], I've started a mediation session on Meedi8 to help us work through [topic]. Would you be willing to join? Here's the link: [paste link]
It's a guided conversation with an AI mediator. You'll have your own private coaching session first. Let me know if you have questions!"
What They'll Experience
When they click the link:
- Create Account (if new) - Same easy signup
- Read Overview - Brief explanation of the process
- Private Coaching - Their own session with Meedi
- Join Mediation - When both are ready
Important Points
- They have their own private coaching (you won't see it)
- They can take their time
- Link expires after 7 days
Tracking Invitation Status
On your dashboard, the session shows:
| Status | Meaning |
|---|---|
| Pending | Waiting for them to join |
| In Progress | They're doing coaching |
| Ready | Both ready for mediation |
You'll get an email when they're ready.
If They Don't Join
Reminders
They'll receive email reminders at:
- 24 hours
- 3 days
- 5 days
After 7 Days
The link expires. You can:
- Start a new session
- Resend the invitation
- Continue with solo reflection
If They Decline
That's okay. You can:
- Continue solo sessions for your own processing
- Try again later
- Seek other support
Tips for Success
People are more likely to join if they understand what to expect.
Send the invite when they're likely to be receptive.
They may need time to decide.
The process works best when both parties join willingly.
