Why Take Breaks?
Breaks are important for:
- Processing emotions
- Calming down if heated
- Taking time to think
- Physical needs
How to Request a Break
In Solo Sessions
Simply close the tab or say "I need a break." Your progress is auto-saved.
In Duo Mediation
- Click the "Break" button
- Choose break duration (5, 10, 15 min or custom)
- Both parties are notified
- Session pauses
During a Break
What Happens
- Timer counts down
- Both can see remaining time
- Meedi sends return reminder
- Session stays secure
What You Can Do
- Step away
- Get water
- Breathe deeply
- Come back refreshed
Returning from Break
When Timer Ends
- You'll get a notification
- Click to return
- Resume where you left off
Early Return
Both parties can return early if ready.

Automatic Pauses
Meedi may suggest breaks when:
- Conversation gets heated
- Strong emotions are detected
- Someone seems overwhelmed
Session Timeout
If inactive for extended periods:

- You can return anytime
- Just log back in
